The
Problem

An Artist's Vulnerability

For so many musicians, songwriters, and lyricists, their work is grounded in their vulnerability. That creativity and vulnerability is what grabs us as we experience their art. That vulnerability is also fertile ground for drug and alcohol problems and addiction. Add the stress of touring, the often lack of health insurance, the family dynamics of a musical family and it is no wonder that there is a higher level of drug and alcohol addiction in the music community.
